Mr.
Mehta was born in London, England. He
graduated from the University of the
Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in the
top of his class and received the prestigious
Order of the Coif award. Mr. Mehta limits
his practice to representing consumers,
individuals and small businesses, and
mediations. His primary areas of emphasis
are elder abuse litigation, medical malpractice,
major personal injury, employment law
and insurance bad faith.
Mr.
Mehta obtained much of his knowledge
and experience while he worked in the
Los Angeles office of a large national
law firm, representing large corporations
in various litigation matters. After
gaining experience defending these entities,
he now practices at Mehta & Mann, LLP.
Mr.
Mehta has represented many clients in
six and seven figure awards involving
claims such as elder abuse, medical malpractice,
personal injuries, insurance bad faith,
employment law, products liability and
other major injuries.
In
addition to representing clients in the
trial courts, Mr. Mehta has represented
clients in both the Federal and State
Appellate Courts, resulting in published
opinions by the California Courts of
Appeal.
Moreover,
Mr. Mehta is also a published author
of numerous articles on a variety of
topics including elder abuse, medical
malpractice, insurance law, negotiations
and other consumer issues. Many of his
articles have been published in state
and national publications, including
the ABA Journal, the Los Angeles Daily
Journal, the Los Angles Lawyer, The Advocate
Magazine published by Los Angeles Consumer
Attorneys and the Forum magazine published
by the Consumer Attorneys of California.
He has also taught seminars in law at
colleges, universities, and private and
public organizations on consumer, legal
and litigation related topics, including
Elder Abuse litigation. He was also an
associate professor at California State
University, Northridge where he taught
a course in the law.
Mr.
Mehta is a member of organizations focusing
on legal business and consumer needs,
including the Consumer Attorneys of California,
Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles,the
American Bar Association, Los Angeles
County Bar Association, Professional
Network Group, Valencia Business Association
and The George McBurney Inn of Court.
He was the past president of the Barristers
organization of the San Fernando Valley
Barand the California State Bar Solo
and Small Firm section.

Michele
Mann graduated from McGeorge School of
Law. She primarily practices in estate
planning, wills & Trusts , Probate
and general business law, and has represented
both large and small corporations and consumers
in a variety of employment, business litigation,
and consulting matters. Ms. Mann also speaks
and teaches widely in her practice areas.
Ms. Mann is a partner with the full-service
firm of Mehta & Mann with offices in
Valencia, California and Century City,
California.
She
opened her practice in May, 1999 after
many years of experience defending major
liability claims for large and small corporations,
partnerships, and sole proprietorships
including claims for wrongful termination,
insurance bad faith, and professional errors
and omissions issues. Her unique litigation
background includes actively defending
large-class parties in multiple, simultaneously
tracked class action suits.
Ms.
Mann has lectured on a variety of legal
topics and is a member of General Organizations
for Business and Consumers. |
